Sam Smith was truly one of the biggest names of the night winning Song of the year, Record of the Year, Best Vocal Album and Best New Artist.
Beck took home the Album of the Year honors for Morning Phase.
Co-AOTY nominee Pharrell took home three awards on the night, adding Best Urban Contempory Album and Best Music Video to the one listed above.
Beyonce, also a AOTY nominee, added Best Surrond Sound Album to the two awards listed above for “Drunk in Love”.
Iggy Azalea was nominated for 4 awards but won none.
And outside the Hip Hop world…
Jack White took home Best Rock Performance for “Lazaretto”.
In addition to AOTY, Beck’s Morning Phase beat out veterans Tom Petty and U2 for Best Rock Album.
Singer Roseanne Cash took home all three of the awards for which she was nominated.
Famed blues guitarist Johnny Winter, who passed away in July, won Best Blues Album.
