One year ago today we created a new path here at JP Lime Productions, transforming our website into our newest enterprise, #JPLMagazine. It’s been our great pleasure to bring you articles on music, art, poetry, sports, culture and politics, all with a crunchy Hip Hop center. We’ve reviewed 14 albums, reported on the political unrest in Ferguson, MO, the Ukraine, and the Middle East, and kept abreast of all the Boston sport news, often poetically. We’ve produced our unique brand of Hip Hop History with our monthly Rap Flashback. We’ve developed collaborations with Oddball Magazine and AroundtheBean.com, two of the region’s best sites for poetry and sports, respectively. With all of it we’ve sought to foster meaningful, relevant conversations on the topics that matter most to you, our friends and fans. We thank you for your continued support and are eager for what #JPLMagazine’s second year will hold.
Today and through the week we’ll be featuring some of our personal favorites from the past year so be sure to visit our Facebook and Twitter pages for all the highlights. A year ago today we launched an April Fool’s joke announcing that we’d be closing our doors; nothing could have been farther from the truth. One year later we are growing rapidly, thrilled by the response and invigorated for the road ahead. We emplore you to come join the conversation.
And Lime On.
